As a background, my wife and I Beta'd EQ2, then once it went live she quit after the tradeskilling went south and her Dirge was totaly destroyed. I started a Fury, then quickly got bored and decided to try the Shadowknight. For the next 6-8 months I became more and more ticked on how under-powered the DPS/Mitigation and overall class was. After being shunned time and time again by groups and only being solo'n "greens" I gave up and we left EQ2. We have just recently returned and I decided to give the SK another try. I was really impressed.

This class is actually "fun" to play now with the adjustments and "fixes" that were so badly needed. Then I come here to the forums and hear that the class is going to get nerfed. (Course I ignored all of the whiney class that always scream for nerfs instead of having thier own class fixed) I've looked for official word of what to expect for the SK's but have'nt found anything, other than folks giving thier "opinions" and assumptions. Has anything been said from the devs? And if so, is my class once again headed for the delete button? Just curious and worried.

                                                                                                                                  Oneal

Honestly Sk's still are probably a bit OP in "certain" situations at least in the early game. But yeah I wouldnt worry about knee jerk reaction nerfs at this stage, they probably would have already happend.
