can i play during the first update for the game?

<p>Critical updates will have to be downloaded before playing. However there are optional updates that you can change to download while you play or you can chose to just not download them. To change these cancel the current update then click on the "Preferences" Button. This will bring up a Options window that will allow you to select to either Download the Audio Packs and Additional optional Downloads now/later/or not at all.</p>
