Does anyone use the Search bar on the player profile page?

<p>If you are talking about the character/guild search bar that is present underneath a character name on their profile page, yes.</p><p>It may be a little redundant but if you are looking up more than one thing it saves you from having to click the home button or the back button, eliminating extra page navigations.</p><p>It could be moved or made smaller - like the search bar in the upper right hand corner of these forums though?</p>

<p>I occasionally use this tool myself, but I'm not terribly attached to it.  Though, unless you are planning to replace it with some other useful feature, why would you want to get rid of it?  It's not like it would allow you to move up the useful information on the page since the advertisement to buy the expansion sticks down too far to the right.</p><p>Now, if you are willing to get rid of the pointless ad banner for people looking at the character profile page and move the rest of the pertinent information up . . . I could see that being a useful change.</p><p>However, these are the types of small changes and visual tweaks to be considered <em>after</em> the majority of the site is working properly.  Last I checked, there was a pretty sizeable list of bugs for the site still.  Also a goodly number of missing features that people have been very clear about wanting back.  Any word on progress there?</p>

<p>I actually do use this search bar on occasion.  Besides that, what's it hurting?  Like my old pa used to say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."</p>
