Question on Casting Spells for Conjurer

<p>The conjurer is the only character that I've tried (there's been at least 8 ) wherein I have to wait several seconds for the animation and yellow line to fill before I can cast another spell.  Is this normal? </p>

<p>Spells have a casting time.  If you hover over them they list their details including the casting time, duration, etc.</p><p>Your other characters, I would guess, are more melee-oriented and have Combat Arts instead of Spells.  CAs are "generally" very fast casting (with some exceptions).  Spells are "generally" 1-3 seconds.</p>

<p>I'll add - keep a look out for gear that decreases casting and recast times - also under AAs, there are usually choices that allow one to decrease times of casting, recast times and/or increase duration of the spells.</p>

<p>With the conjuror, some of the spells take a longer casting time. Summoning your pet, for example, is not quick.</p><p>Eventually, you can get gear and equipment that has bonuses that reduce cast times, which is nice.</p>

<p>Highlight each of your AAs and the tool tip will explain what each one does, so you can decide which ones you wish. As for gear, once again, each piece of gear has information on it pertaining to stats, hp/pwr, resists and effects. Read them carefully.
