MY EQ FILES ARE A MESS

<p>I am not computer savy. Been playing EQ2 on and off since launch on the same computer. Bought some of the expansions through direct download and bought some from the store. Over the years of me trying to install/move files, delete files to make room or delete stuff i just duplicated on accident, attempts at installing custom ui pieces, multiple different eq maps trying to load has left my computer and eq files a mess.</p><p>What i want to do is totally clean up my computer. Erase everything and reinstal eq2 from scratch so i will only have 1 copy of the game and all my files will work correctly. Is this possible or will i have to buy a new version of the game if i did this? I do have the store bought expansion or SF box at home but i already loaded it to my computer and entered the activation key so i dont know if i could just pop those discs back in once evrything is cleaned up and use that to reload the whole game? Any tips or advice would be appreciated, since every time i try and fix this stuff myself i just wrecked my computer worse haha. Thanks.</p>

<p>You can download and install the game in as many places as you want. When you login just enter your account details.</p><p>If you want to install the game fresh just startup the station launcher and change the settings to a new install path.</p><p>To do this after you login and hit the Everquest2 tab goto games then game prefrences and change the game install path</p><p>Something like C:GamesEQ2 and after it downloads the 10 gigs you can delete any other folders the game installed to.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Any of your install locations should work fine as long as you run the patcher at that location.  If you have extra install folders on your computer then you may want to perform a search for Everquest or EQ and delete any of the folders that you aren't using.</p>
