Hello,

I'm a fairly new EQ2 player and I will be rolling around with a SK parter. We both plan on grinding out AAs around 10, so I will be pretty low but I'll have quite a few AAs to play around with.

Any suggestions of where I should be dumping them? I've read suggestions regarding the Battle tree, but I'm not sure if that will allow me the flexibility of being able to heal when necessary and still doing enough damage to contribute to the duo.

Thanks in advance!

If you grind 100+ AAs while in the teens, both of you will be extremely powerful up until around level 70 (excluding TSO content), so I wouldn't count on needing very much healing until you approach end-game. You should be fine staying alive against heroic content at least until the 50s and possibly until the 70s. Until that point, you're probably going to want to focus on helping the SK kill stuff ASAP.

You do not want to put points into the INT line until way later in the game, unless you are for some reason playing caster inquisitor. For now, the focus should be STR for Steadfast and STA for crits. If you want, AGI for defense and Shield Ally to help your tank. In the EoF tree, Battle Cleric if you aren't going caster, Punishments. Both Triage and Shadows can wait, imo.
