I have come back to EQ2. I have a few Characters in guilds that have 280K in status. Can I de-guild them and transfer them to other guilds and still keep the status they have and bring it to a new guild?

This was not the case 3 years ago and someone said this was fixed.

I would like to change guilds and bring the wealth of status to the new one. What is the 'status' of status in EQ2?

Thanks again!

Whatever you contributed to a guild stays with the guild. Guilds don't de-level anymore.

What personal status you have remains with you.

Your new guild won't magically gain 280k of status simply for you joining. You'll have to start contributing new status.

Your personal contributed status will show as zero as you haven't contributed anything to the new guild yet.

A character's personal status (the amount seen in your Persona window) remains with your character until you spend it on something, no matter what your guild status is. The character's contribution to a guild (the amount shown in the Guild Roster) belongs to the guild it was earned in and remains with that guild when the character leaves. That amount is 10% of all personal status that character has earned while in that guild, added as a bonus amount (not deducted from your personal status) to the guild's total. It's free status for the guild used for leveling purposes only and not spendable.
