<p>I am writing this for a friend who plays too. Something really weird happens when she plays. When I invite her to my guild she goes linkdead, and same thing happens when I invite her to a group. Has this happened to anyone before? If so how did you fix it?</p>

<p>You may want to have your friend post more info.  Is she using a Custom UI?  Has she updated it as well as her drivers?</p>

<p>I assume it drops your friend back to character select when she goes link dead?  If so, it sounds like this may be a router issue.  If you are using a router then please try bypassing it so that your computer is connected directly to the modem.  If that fixes the problem then you will need to set up that router for port forwarding in order to continue using it.  The following site has detailed information about how to do so:<a href="http://portforward.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://portforward.com/</a>Simply select the router you're using, click the 'skip this advertisement' link, and then select Everquest 2 on the following list.  That should present you with instructions on how to set up port forwarding on your router.</p>
