Shift-click linking of items not working

<p>Hello.</p><p>I noticed a problem recently where I can now no longer shift-click an item to link it in my chat window.</p><p>At first it was only on one of my characters, but now it affects all of them. I assume this is something in a local file for it to do something like this?</p><p>Was wondering if anybody else had this problem, and how they resolved it?</p><p>Note: I did install ProfitUI once, and uninstalled (also removed default INI etc. after removing it) but the shift-clicking was fine even after that. This problem does not seem to coincide with a particular update or system change.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>It's possible that this is being caused by a corrupted UI/game file.  You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders from you Everquest 2 directory:</p><p>cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniIf deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, deleting those files did not work <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>It seems to be affecting recipes and anything I shift-click from the Examine window. If I shift-click the icon of an item in my bag then it will link OK, but if I shift-click the Examine icon, it will not. I need to be able to shift-click the Examine icon for when I am crafting items for people. I say "I can craft T2 Mark gear if you'd like some?" They say "Link plz." and I say "I'm sorry I can't link!"</p>
