Hi, Everyone.

I just hit lvl 20 on my conjuror and from there i Decided that it would be good to subscribe. I have been leveling from encounters of three enemies by AOEing the hell out of them, it has proven very quick exp and very consistent (mind you the encounters are 1-2 lvls below me).

I have a couple questions as to how I should continue from here.

1. Where should I put my AA? So far I have just been putting them into spell haste (cast time).

2. How does the AA system work? If I'm lvl 20, how many AA can I have max?

3. What Spells should I upgrade? There are opbviously some that aren't worht it.

4. IS my AOE strategy going to last?

5. Where is a good place to lvl after greater Faydark?

Thanks for any and all answers. I appreciate any other tips I may not be asking for !! =)

1 and 2. Look at my AA guide.

3. Your top priority spells are your Pet spells. Upgrade your Tank and Mage pets to Expert ASAP. Then really whatever you can as you level.

4. You'll likely run low on AoE encounters as you level. But the beauty of Conjurors is that we're POWERFUL soloers regardless of the situation.

5. Follow what's known as the Golden Path. Butcherblock Mountains (adjacent to Greater Faydark) will be your next destination.

1. I max'd crystal blast and fiery annihilation first, then I moved on to my pet of choice. I chose the scout pet and have had amazing success, other's prefer the mage or earth. Ultimately I think it will be up to you and which pet will fit your play style.

2. At level 20 you could, if chose to, have 150 AA's. That's extreme and counter productive. As you get further into the AA trees the AA's will boost spells that you won't have at level 20. My formula for AA count, about 1.5x your level or as much as you can stand before you want to level a little quicker. At about level 50 I set my slider to 25% for normal questing/leveling. If I mentor I go 100%. At level 70 you can have 200 and at 90 250. (please correct me if i'm off here)

3. Crystal blast, fiery annihilation, petrify. I can't recall my exact progression (I've done a lot of experimentation), but then up your pet heal, cure elements, 3 points into ice storm, and then max shattered earth. From there (I chose the scout pet) I went to the summoners tree: 1 in posses minion, 4 shadow step, 4 cabalists cover, 10 minion's zeal. That was my general upgrade progression, your play style, what pet you opt for, and your play experience will ultimately guide you through.

4. I mainly level through questing. I tried grinding mobs but the quests are just too sweet for experience to pass. Plus, some of the rewards are pretty cool.

5. I went Qeynos, Antonica, Thundering steps(might be good after Gfay), Butcherblock....and after that it's a bit fuzzy. I'm just now finishing up Shifting Sands and Lavastorm at level 56.

Hope it helps.

Dont forget dungeons!

As Xalmat states a Conjy is pretty good soloer as I'm finding out now (just got my 1st to lvl32) - Mid-High 20's can hit up the 1st few namers in both Fallen Gate & Stormhold.

Lvl28 upwards can smack up Ruins of Varsoon, just run the circle of 1st four Named guys on the map, can invis all the way from each to each or kill the little heroics for XP. Keep your AA slider quite high (mines at 60%) which is keeping me nicely at the 1.5x level.

You can net yourself a few spell upgrades in these places and a LOT of rare harvests & treasured items which sell quickly to transmuters which can then be converted into Experts/Masters/Mastercraft gear for yourself. Have spread my AAs between personal DPS (casting speed & the end of that line helps a LOT with resists) + tank survivability at the mo...

Stormhold is on the east side of Antonica. Fallen Gate is northwest Commonlands. Ruins of Varsoon is a dungeon on the southern side of Thundering Steppes.

NM

The actual number is 2.78 AA per adventure level. A good "general" goal is to arrive at L70 with ~125 AA, without touching RoK, TSO or SF content. If you do that, and then follow the RoK+ solo quest lines, and doing as many dungeons as you can get groups for, you'll probably be fine.
