Please add a slot

<p>With Halas coming out, can SOE spend a bit and let us all have another slot.  You can not think that we all are empty of slots that we can all create a new toon in Halas?</p><p>Maybe there is a reason you can't, tell us.   As for me, I am full and can't create a new toon to take advantage of halas... Oh well, I guess Halas will just be a zone that only attracts new players and not the serious EQ2 players that have been here since inception (1997).</p><p>What ever the case, I will continue to play and enjoy the game but SOE must find the money to let more of the seasoned vetrans get more of the fruits of the money we spent. </p><p>I will bring this up at the Fan Faire this August; Trust me.</p>

<p>But supposedly, database issues was the reasons backpacks and strong boxes had a size limit about a year to 18 months ago.  But the size of backpacks and strongboxes has been dramatically increased since then with improvements made to the database.  So, the database shouldn't be as big of an issue or at least its not an insurmountable obstacle to adding a single character to normal accounts and two character slots to the station pass accounts.  The only other issue I can see is the server hardware the database runs on which upgrades have already planned, and if I remmeber correctly, the more heavely populated servers have already received or are already planned for said hardware upgrades.</p><p>Anyway, I don't think it hurts to ask for an increase in toon count per account every once in a while.  The worst that can happen is they say no again, and again.</p>

<p>I would hope it is something they'll be able to do at some point in time (and no, doesn't hurt to check up on it now and again), I'm just saying they do have a reason that has been given several times before.</p>

<p>Please add a  slot. I was looking at my 7 characters  last night and there is not a single one I want to reroll. All are 80 or over in crafting and/or adventure, with full quest journals, all with ton of AA, and dozens of collections turned in. To reroll even one makes me want to cry. All that work seems like an awful shame to just delete. But I really want to start a character in New Halas. So please give us a new slot. I would rather have a new character slot than those bigger boxes and backpacks, which I love being a druid at heart.</p>

<p>I expect one of the reasons for not adding another slot is they make more money from Station Access and people with 2 accounts.  Of course there are database issues also but they have probably analyzed the number of characters people have on their accounts vs. number of people who max out the normal number of characters and upgrade to station access vs. how many people made new characters last time they added a slot.  It very well could be that the added characters last time they added a slot caused database issues.  Or they may have created the database with a limit of 12 characters at most and it would be a small nightmare to change it.  I roll a character on test when I want to try a new race/starting area.</p>

<p>Haha Databse issues is just a running joke at this point right?</p><p>Like, its why we on the PVP server have a limited recent list for PVP kills,</p><p>And my favorite one is, that its the reason we cant have PVE to PVP character transfers, even though we can all fight eachother in BGs.. HAHA</p>
