The dock out near the EF Spires?

<p>Previously it was assumed these docks were for New Halas, but with the Halas preview, they say its accessed by griffon, not ship...  So, that still leaves this dock...</p>

<p>Same question could be asked with the dock in NW Antonica, on one of the islands on southern antonica, the ones with the npc smugglers in commonlands or the old lavastorm dock at the back of enchanted lands..</p>

There were heroic nightbloods swarming all over the bell that lead to it. As if that wasn't bad enough, you then had to protect the boat during the ride to Lavastorm from being engulfed in fire and sinking (and killing you.) They changed it so that the Everfrost access quest filled in for Lavastorm too.</p><p>The dock in NW Antonica used to be guarded by some guards, but now they're dead as some goblins took it over. It was never really intended to lead to anywhere, but there was speculations that it would be used for expansions and such.</p>

<p>Well according to <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/gameinfo/updates" target="_blank">this</a>, it seems to imply that there is a boat from Thundering Steppes and Everfrost, although with the new travel system I dont know if any boats will still even run.  Either way, I am curious why a dock was placed just a few months ago, yet on Test its still the same as on Live.  Also, still no clue on the light in the mountains. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Quote from the Link:</p><p><em>"A Farseas Trader vessel awaits to transport travelers from Norrath to the waiting shore of New Halas from the Steppes and Everfrost. Which makes sense because teleportation is, well, a more progressive way of travelling around
