win7 game explorer spam

<p>Whenever I start EQ2 it seems it gets added into the win7 Game explorer, essentially spamming the thing with dozens of useless links for eq2.</p><p>Periodically I go through and remove the links with a 3rd party tool but its getting annoying.  Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?</p><p>Below is a screen shot (over 80 of the 106 items are EverQuest II) to show what I mean.</p><p><img src="http://imgur.com/J5gmC.jpg" width="999" height="600" /></p>

<p>Wow I hadn't even checked the game explorer since I don't use it but reading your post I went to look and I had nearly 200 entries in there. This is really something that should get looked into considering I have other games installed and thees no multi entries for those games.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Sadly, this is a known issue at the moment and not something I have a fix for.  For the moment I can only suggest deleting the entries as they are added.  Hopefully there will be a fix for this problem soon.</p>
