Heya, folks!

Just hit 62 with my SK and made myself a set of Xegonite Vanguard & a shield (woo!). I took a look at adornments and was truly overwhelmed with the options nowadays. I saw a lot of good stuff and was wondering which ones would work best for my playstyle.

I mostly just play with my wife; I run through and grab aggro and she blasts wizard spells at my target. I sometimes solo, too, and have grouped with full teams on a few occassions. I use a MC karabela because I have a few haste items and had a guild member make me a greater blasting for it (which is awesome). I do have Avenger & use Swift Attack from the Crusader line as often as possible. Feel free to peruse my profile: http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...%20DLere/Velik/

Now that you know a bit more about how and what I play, can you make any recommendations? The extra crit chance ones looked pretty good, along with ones for haste, riposte, parry, and so on. I saw around 4 or 5 that looked good, and there might be more that were just sold out on the broker. I'm talking about the newer "Lambent Adornment of _" ones.

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

PS: I saw another adornment question thread from about a month ago but they were looking for PVP advice, which I'm sure is a bit different. There weren't any replies anyway.

To begin -- you're going to get several replies saying "you blow through that tier so fast why bother wasting plat?"

I'm not in that camp. Play your game how you want, is my cry. And as such, I'd suggest blasting adorns where you can for the dps boost. I'm not 100% up on all the adorn changes, but if there are still the power tap or lifetap ones those can help a lot for longer fights or solo. The crit chance ones look decent too. Anything that increases your parry is good for survivability also.

In regard to spending, I don't see myself going too crazy. The lesser versions are nearly as good, and much cheaper. I also don't get to play very often, so it'll probably be a few months before I get another 10 levels. I got off pretty cheap on my xegonite clusters and being able to make the armor myself. I've got over 100p saved up so I do have a bit to spend.

Adorn your weapons with some decent dps adorns and spend your cash on getting your spells to Expert. If all of your spells are at Expert or better and you still have money to burn, +Parry and +Endurance (HP) would be my priority, followed by +STR.

They're all currently at adept or better, but yeah, I probably should invest in some experts/masters. Thank you for your thoughts.

I wouldnt go crazy on experting all the spells but taunts and big hitting offensive spells is a good start...
