When I first did Battlegrounds I could target an enemy player character and heal myself while targeting them just like normal mobs in the regular game. But lately i've found that most times I can't do that. I have to target myself to heal then them to nuke. What's up with that!?!?

Keep track of who you are targeting when that happens. If you are targeting a fighter and you got taunted, you are forced to target them, and all your spells will go to that target, including your heals which will fail as they can only be cast on yourself of your friends. This was an issue on PvP for awhile. I got into the habit of tapping ESC a few times before i cast a single target ward on heal that was intended for myself. that way it would clear my target and automatically go to me.

I feel like sometimes when I cast a heal spell on a bad guy if he doesn't have a target my spells cast but don't do anything. It might just be me though maybe its just not showing his third target in my UI I'll have to look closer. I personally always spam f1 when I'm targeted to avoid this
