View Full Version : New Conjy pet appearances (with pictures of most)

So the Earthen Avatar I, III, V, and VII have new apearances on Test and I'd like to give some feedback. First of all, the EA7 change is a huge improvement and I wish I could have taken a sceenshot of it but my testcopy char dates back to the last expansion ... so here's what I do have.

I rather like the pet rock and I'll be sad to see it go, but the teeny myrmadon is cute. Maybe you can use it for the EA6 graphic? (Which hasn't changed)

Moving on to EA3, which....

Giving us the incredibly ugly roper back. I think the golems are good pet graphic to have and I don't care how much work the art team put into the ropers, THEY ARE UGLY and I don't want one following me, not even for 10 levels.

Now for EA5, this is awesome

Thumbs up for the gorgon model, it'll make an awesome pet and a lot of bull jokes.

Oh no, they're getting rid of the little rock?! He was my favorite... I liked to have that one out with my cloak of the harvester illusion on...

Welcome to summoner hell. The T9 necro pets are all hideous. Maybe Sony is just bringing conjuror pets in line with the horrid T9 necro pets. I have to agree w/ the OP: That roper is horrible, and I wouldn't want following me around, any more than I want that stupid-looking undead orc on a living horse following me around.

The new ea7 pet is much better.

best of course would be to lose the ropy roper altogether.. but you arent using EA3 THAT long.

No words strong enough to express just how much my conjurer HATES her "new and improved" T9 pet. Not only is it incredibly ugly but it's also very noisy, stomping and clomping after her and reminding her just how badly pets lag behind their owners as she stands at her destination and listens to the clomping and stomping as it catches up to her.

The roper was dreadful as well.

I really liked my T8 guy. Granted, he had no neck, very long arms and big hands but hey, nobody is perfect.

I'm stuck with this ugly creature until there is an increase in the level cap. Depressing thought there...

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I love the T9 Necro pets.

Just, the orc shouldn't be on a horse.

Very amusing animations when idling and nice and compact.

It's a shame to lose the pet rock, though. He was the best one of all. Put him in the store as a vanity pet or put him on a Petamorph wand.

How about a choice (again)? Yes, I love choices. Of all the conjy pets I love(d) my lil rolling stone the best. I'm sure he isn't the only one who got called Mick. He is small, compact, cute and rolls in (mostly) silence. Sometimes he giggles, I swear.

You could add a right click option to all summoned pets to choose their appearance. Or to pet options.

Purr~

They should make an Illusion: Pet spell. It would open up a list of all of the pet looks that we have ever had and let us give out pets that illusion. (Including past models that we no longer use). The spell would come at level one, but we would only be allowed to illusion our pets to the graphics from the current or previous levels.

So Basically, level one would have a few options. Level 90 would have all the options.

Its all a consperecy to drum up sales of the pet illusion wands in the market place.

How about selling us spirt/ghost pets and we go to our trainers and buy the illusions we like???????

I liked the bug pets better... Playing a fae summoner with huge bugs following you around was epic... getting short end of the stick with the stupid rock made me stop playing my summoner.

I was thinking like the other poster about how its a conspiracy for marketplace pet illusions. Since Im boycotting them, because those items have been known to change appearance down the road,(not gonna waste more money), I have no problem just getting the pet illusions from shard of love. My conj likes the wisps and am still trying to get the lion. I can at least get those petamorphs cheap on broker as well. (few coppers).

I strongly dislike the ugly tree looking thing. The myrmidon rock guy and the golem rock guys are not cool to play with, but the golem one is alright, something about the bulge in the groin area is unsettling, its too human of a feature, he should be less anatomical in that way, or put some panties/shorts on.

Myrmidon guy needs to go altogether, never liked it in any of its colors, maybe because of the caves as a lowby having to kill those things and just left a bad taste in my mouth about them. The baby rock should stay and not sure if they are going to change the worm but It neeeds to change as well, Tremors(movie) anyone? /shivers.

The bull looks cool, but not if it has constant sound effects. Really, any pet that draws attention to itself out of combat needs an option to toggle its particular sound. We already can toggle city voices to emote or not, why cant we stop our pets from emoting (the sounds)?
