Hello everyone!

After reading a post in the general forum about locking down your level and questing for huge amounts of AA I decided to give it a whirl and its loads of fun!! So far I'm lvl 22 with 50aa! I can take whole rooms of mobs quite easily now, only my overall damage seems to be lacking.

What I am looking for is an idea of where to spend my AA's as I earn them for maximum gains. So far I have maxed out the STR line, have 2 point in STAs for the extra AE, 1 point for the first INT bubble for the extra spell. On the pally side I have maxed out my wraths line so I have the sweet end line AE.

Could anyone suggest where to spend them from here in?

Well, i can not say i've figured out some perfect setting or havin expierience on how well some things play out in Raid, but i can give some hints...aferall it depends on your playstyle.

Maxing STR line is good fot getting the increased casting speed and this stuff, i have also maxxed the STA-Line, Divine Aura can be a true lifesaver sometimes as it gives you nearly invulnerability for 10 seconds.

At least for non-Epic content which could hardly hit for half of you max Hitpoints.

As a third maxxed line i chose the former wisdom-Line as some features there are quite useful as a group-Tank and "Fearless Morale" gives you complete immunity against fear effects. Quite handy with some heroic Bosses who fear frequently.

that one point spent in legiaonaires smite is not that bad...although the damage this does might be quite low as you level higher...haveing one more way to deal damage may be worthe one point.

If you're more in the soloers setup ypu may want to focus on the agi-line instead of wisdom.

Trample for example is some quite nice Ability, which basically gives you Autoattack some AE component....

Considering the Paladin-Tree, Blocking Mastery might be worth maxxing out if you want to be a group Tank and maximise your defensive capabilites.

Heretics destruction also is some very helpful temporary DPS-Buff which we got with SF expansion... giving your whole group 30% more DPS for ten seconds simply may be the difference on getting a bossmob down fast enough not to wipe.

Just to give some hints on the future...

You may also loog in your shadows tree as there are some quite powerful abilities for tanking and general survivability.

Greetings,

Me

Here is how I would spend the first 90 points or so.

http://www.beetny.com/eq2aa/?f01h1a...5@25@1535555@61

Beyond that maybe go for Knights Stance and Valor in Battle on the Crusader Shadow line as well as Forced Following and Knights Counter on the Paladin Line. I have not had a lot of luck with Lance on the Agi line but some Pally’s love it so you probably will want to check it out.

If your trample speced you want your Crit Chance as close to 100% as you can get and as much DPS, DA, and Haste as you can get.

I am assuming you are fighting in offensive stance. If not you might need to put some points into Battle Leadership on the Wisdom line to offset the skill drop in defensive stance and get you hit rate as close to 100% as you can. Advanced Combat Tracker (ACT) can help you a lot here.

That’s my opinion anyway.

By way of a small update, I let myself level to 24 and now have 53 aa, here is how I'm currently stacked out:

http://www.beetny.com/eq2aa/?f00w14...@6110l@b555@151

I am seriously thinking about dropping the stamina line at the moment as the hammer ground attack seems to weak and I'm thinking I may get more gains from going down the agi line.

Would anyone care to comment?

Also, the more points you dump in it the longer the stun lasts. Maxxed it is pretty good. Better for soloing obviously as anything that gives you a second to get off a heal is worth gold. Or re-cast your ward. Just my 2cp.
