<p>Am i the only one thats having a really hard time letting go of this?  Is there any t9 alternative to bane warding? I love it so much i just cant seem to give up t8 for it.</p>

<p>For farming, I still use it.  For breaking new content / hard stuff, not so much.</p><p>I do still use it in pickup groups to keep the mobs from bouncing directly to me when the tank sucks.</p>

<p>I was already under the impression that the once per second limitation was there from way back, I'll have to check old patch notes.</p>

They're just making it as worthless in pve now too.</p>

<p>Yep, I found the patch notes, it was a PvP change, back in May of last year.</p><p>Can't really fathom any good reason for the change other than another way to force us out of older gear.</p>

It was either nerf the old effect or give it to T9 items too. I really hated putting on my TSO gear over my T3 SF gear.</p><p>And while it's worth a lot of dps/aggro, the damage shield was overpowered and shouldn't really belong to a healer class.</p><p>If you put on your neutral glasses, you'll see that this was a needed change. And you should all be glad that it didn't happen waaaaay earlier.</p>

<p>When you see level 90 raiders still using t8 gear you know something is wrong. An effect that basically puts your effectiveness into the next tier is obviously overpowered. Now you will have to be a good player in order to get those results rather than just being the Shadowknights of healers.</p>
