Personae Reflections: Fixed an issue where the reflections would have a random hair style and hair color if a player race illusion was active.

Is this a joke? You do realise the class is so underpowered right now that there will be noone left playing them to care about how their crappy pet looks?

Illusionists should not be doing less damage than bards and priests. Fix the class - give them more dps and utility that doesnt suck.

or raid wide buffs and crowd control more meaningful.

Meaningful crowd control would be nice, but they werent able to balance it back in T5 and I doubt they can balance it now. Its easier to increase dps and buffs than return the class to its former glory.

After checking ACT thoroughly I discovered that the incredibly low damage output of Illusionists is actually due to pets having the wrong hair style! There was me thinking that the focus on crit bonus and potency in SF had very litte effect on the low damage skills of the Illusionist, whereas most other classes saw their dps double... but there you have it.

Bad hair = bad parse!

Thanks for fixing this game breaking fault with the Illusionist class. I am sure all the Illusionist who are quitting the game will reconsider now that the personae hair disaster is finally resolved!

I would really like my pet to persist through zoning around SF. Sucks to recast every time I go into an instance.

I love the fact that three mages wearing aITEM -939774711 1664478560:[Vulaan's Earhoop of the Herald]/a can actually replace the need to even have an Illusionist!

Throw in a few healers with Zarrakon belt and you wont even notice they are gone. Besides Elemental Toxicity that summoners bring do more damage than Peace of Mind, the Warlock temp buff even does more! Lets not forget that Destructive Forces isnt independant of the potency cap, so its pretty much useless to anyone who raids.

So that leaves Illusionists with what... 5% spell double attack to one target and a spell double attack Jcap? No thanks. The class used to be fun.

But rare as all heck since most are quitting since they are BORING to play now.

I had a Troub as main. Yes, I continued playing her after lu13 because I hoped that it would get better, some day, somewhen... it didn't.

I have an Illusionist main. I continued playing her after SF, because I'm hoped it would get better, some day, somewhen... it hasn't - so far.

I'm fed up with what was made of a class that was soloing nice (who doesn't at this point, well, except Troubs, of course) and was an asset in groups and raids. I could live with the fact that we now don't have anything left to give to crusaders, really the only tanks who profited from us, because they now have no use for +Int anymore. But what you guys have done to the damage output of not-fabled out Illus is a bloody shame. Not even touching the topic of power regen compared to Coercers or the amount of items who will make up for the services of an Illu all together.

And you seriously give us a fix pertaining to hair color/style of our pet? Not sure if I should laugh hysterically or just walk away.

Purr~

As a Warlock, i unclicked my myth on waansu for the heck off it and spammed Dark Syphoning to test the feed. Together with the Earring, i fed 50% more power than the illu. Now that's the epitome of Sadness for an Illu.

... this is a display bug. Probably related to the coding aspect of the game, and not mechanics. I don't see that they did many if any passes to classes at all this patch.

So... should they stop fixing bugs like this until your class singularly is fixed? *Shakes head*

Sure, they should give it a shot. Cant get any worse than a mass exodus of the class right?

Riddle me this, whats the point of fixing a graphical error on a class that noone wants to play?

Further that, a graphical bug which noone will notice because the target of the bug (the pet) dies within 5 seconds of initiating combat?

You can facepalm all you want, but its a waste of resources until they fix the class. They should have left Illusions as random.

Our illys easily out parse every bard and priest in our raids and still can keep their group set for power and if you really think a couple mages with the earring can replace an illy you are sorely mistaken.

And seriously, SOE does something to fix a bug and all you can do is whine about it? I have a dirge who can outparse my far better geared Illy easily, and my warlock who is in BG gear can double my Illys numbers.

If your Illusionists are doing more than any of the following classes in SF its because the people playing them suck compared to the Illy:

Any other mage.

Any scout.

Fury or Inquisitor.

Shadowknight, Brawler or Bezerker.

What they should be doing less damage than, and was the case in TSO is:

Summoners and Sorcerors.

Predators and Rogues.
