New Halas and the zone of Frostfang Sea are now on Test and Test Copy! Please assemble any feedback and bugs that you may find with the Pilgrims' Landing content of Frostfang Sea in this thread; quests, population, etc. It is the first quest camp of the zone. This should help us keep it all as organized as possible.

Thank you, everyone!

~Kaitheel

The ladder is a wireframe, instead of a solid object. Looks wierd...especially since it's a white wireframe that blends into the white wall haha.

Can you make the shineys in this new area not white shineys they are tough to spot against the mostly white ground.

Without shader 3.0 on, as stated above, the ladders about the place are just wireframe. If you then switch on shader 3.0 the ladders and have of the wooden boats about the island also suffer from the same thing.

When I am at a distance, I can see the shiney just fine. But as I get closer, my personal torch reflects off the snow and the shiney and anything else on the ground is blocked out by the bright glare. I have this exact same problem on Kerra Isle in Sundered Frontier when I have to find those feathers and claws on the sand. Is there a setting to tone down the personal torch?

I am not sure if this is considered "Pilgrims' Landing" but the area is a short swim across from the starting point, where the rolling rocks are. A named mob called Crushinator dropped a small chest for me today, and this was the loot:

I did submit a bug report in game, but couldn't attach the picture.

Many of the named mobs are dropping items similar to the one posted by Elinea

Also, the weight on the Harvest Storage Bank Box states that weight is 9,999.0

Its probly because theres nothing on the minimap indicating where everything is... EQ2map is ftw. hehe But I found the starter island kinda boring... All the other starter areas were fun, and I redid them several times; except the Freeport one... didnt like it.

Cod and manta rays... in freezing water. lol I believe manta are tropical fish. But the idea of hunting for fish in arctic water was just silly to me. Maybe if we could harpoon them it would be better... have clickable spears on the bank that fishes up the fish.

I couldnt find any fish schools near the shore for the gathering tutorial... again, I dont think we should have to travel out into the water to fish... immersion/realism/believability. Call it what you want...

The windblow shrubbery and the quest bushes look alike.

I couldnt find the beets for the quest on the mainland.. along the shore? All I saw was harvestables and rolling stones, and bears. lots of bears that realistically wouldnt be congregating (they arent social animals).

I assume you are supposed to harvest coal for the quest If I had a hammer from the sack on the ground. It wasn't clicky for me, I could not continue the quest.

The raft disappeared under me like the mounts do now.

Couldnt find the mantas - had to ask in channels. Little did I know they would be so far out. Also there are no fish nodes on the starter island or very few that I could see.

Too many bears.
