I spent a lot of my time these days mentored down, doing old questlines and trying my hand at soloing low level raid content. For a lot of this content I had found myself using the mythical pet partially out of habit and partially because my mind tells me that myth pet scales down better than my T9 master mage pet. I haven't done any testing to validate my assumption however. So, my question is two-part.

1. Does the myth pet scale down better than the T9 mage pet for content leve 60 and below?

2. If yes, how the heck do I summon my myth pet now that I've complete epic repercussions?

The Master Mage pet is better than the Mythical pet once you complete Epic Repercussions. There has been repeated testing to prove this.

And you cannot summon the Mythical pet once you complete Epic Repercussions, the pet is permanently gone. Which is just fine as the Mage pet (at Master rank) is a better pet anyway.

Ya but for survivability doesnt the myth pet tank better than the mage pet?

I have no doubt that DPS of the master pet with epic repercussions is higher, but I'm a little sad to seemingly lose the somewhat tankability I had.

But you answered my question - myth pet is kaput forever

With the expansion the mage pet had its survivability boosted to equal the Mythical pet at equal levels. DPS wise, prior to getting the enervated epic the mythical has a slight damage boost at equal levels, but the Mythical pet doesn't cast a raidwide buff, while the Mage pet does.

Not to mention the Mythical pet stops leveling up at level 84, and the Mage pet will level to 90+.

Speaking of the raid wide buff, is there any info on that anywhere? Searched all over with no luck. Can it's stats be increased some way?
