So... Xalmat said

"The entire epic quest is soloable at level 90, and most of Epic Repercussions is soloable at level 90. There's no excuse not to have it done."

I'm up to Maiden's Chamber... and I suck(tm) because I can't get past the first two buggers.

*lets out a pitiful gnomish sigh* If I can't get this done solo, it's just not going to happen for me.

Any suggestions? Level 90 - all T8 mastered, CB as my 85 choice, radioactive tree stump for a pet.

This is going to be a toughy. I gave it a try after ready your post, and i could get past the first named easily (stopped after that). Have to admit i died a few times because i've developed a nasty habit of pulling the entire room... playing a shadowknight alt will do that to you... still, it is definitely doable.

+ I did it with the mage pet. Don't underestimate your flaming kitten defense-wise, it can take quite a beating. Skill your AA for vehement skin, it is vastly underestimated because most people just seem to see the 3 hits being absorbed. With the defense bonus it provides, your pet is pretty much untouchable for 30s when tanking level 80s. I strongly recommend you use the mage over the tank pet. It does a LOT more damage and will hold aggro easily (get the pet taunt for emergencies, also nice for battlegrounds btw). You might want to enhance the pet heal, too, the faster casting will help a lot. And be sure to get spell double attack.

+ Most of those encounters aren't linked. Simply root one, have your pet smack the other one. I found that one by one, none of the mobs posed a thread to my kitten, with vehement skin cast the mage pet can actually solo those guys.

+ Elemental Blast is a must if you're having trouble in this zone. You can oneshot most mobs in there, and really hurt the named (got the first named to 20% with one EB).

+ I took a peek at your gear via EQ2Players. You need help. Seriously. Not trying to bring you down, but your gear is beyond horrible. Things you definitely have to upgrade:

++ Your main weapon is a no-go at 90. Get a ley line sunrod in moonfield hamlet, you'll want to use it after epic repercussions anyway. It can be bought for 50 tokens, you should be able to get those quickly.

++ If you plan on soloing a lot, get the T3 upgrade for your robe. The Nethersummoned robe provides a huge mana proc that will essentially keep your pet at full mana all the time. Very, very useful. If you're doing battlegrounds (which means if you enjoy getting killed with a single autoattack while you can't burn through afk people's health regeneration) get the robes and pants. Both have destructive forces on them, making them the best non-raid items you can get and providing a tremendous gain in DPS.

++ Get Yeddhad's Cadduceus if you don't already have it. It's easy to obtain and can be a real life saver.

++ There's a lot of nice items you can get by running the easier T9 instances with a group. You'll definitely want the Erudin Channeling Choker, the Hoop of Desecratia, Lump of Flesh, Aquatic Bauble of the Hand and the Uplifter Control Rod. All Mediocre items at best, but good enough for the time being.

Other than that, keep asking people for help. Even if you can't solo that zone, you'll easily duo it with a crusader, or any well-equiped level 90.

I soloed Maiden's Chamber pretty easily. However I'm also very well geared (and I went in after I got my Enervated, which gave me a large advantage).

Before you attempt to solo, you definitely want some pretty decent gear, loaded up with as much Potency, Crit Bonus, Ability Mod, Crit Chance, Power Flux, and Molten Carnage as possible. You want your tank pet mastered out, either t8 or t9 defensive stance mastered, level 90 heal mastered, and a healthy amount of AAs. At a minimum you want Elemental Blast and Elemental Toxicity AAs (I recommend having around 230 AA to be honest).

You also want to make sure your Essence Shift and Shard of Essence are mastered, to help out with power regen.

Make use of your Root spell. Root one of the mobs, have your pet wail away on the other, and keep the one rooted until you're ready to deal with it. You get your first root spell at level 5 or so.
