I tried doing some research but all I found were posts that were a few years old. Can someone tell me how much this game supports multiple monitors? For example, if I were to run dual monitors is it possible to have my chat windows, buff, raid windows etc. on a 2nd monitor? I just would like to de-clutter my main monitor if possible. I'm running profitUI at the moment if that makes any difference. Also, is it possible to run 3 monitors for an ultimate panorama type view?

If anyone is running multiple monitors I'd be very interested in hearing about your setup.

Thanks!

I tried to do this and couldn't get it to work. The biggest problem I had was the camera sits right behind your toon so your essentially in between the screens.

I believe they do make graphics cards designed for 3 monitors that would take care of the problem and give you what your looking for, but I am not willing to shell out the money to upgrade right now.

For past 3 years I've been Stretching screen across 2 monitors. 25" Wide and 19" Standard.

I've used Radeon 3600 then 4850 and now 5770's Crossfired. Works great. Though I haven't actually done Eyefinity, just stretched across in windowed mode.

edit- Oh, and having a Wide next to a square screen, my toon is on the wide monitor to the right instead of dead between.

So, if using 2 monitors the same size, stretch across just far enough to keep your toon on 1st screen and keep ventrilo or act in far right 2nd monitor. Just suggestions.

Just so you know. I have an ASUS HD 5870 1G and I got eyefinity working on my 23" stretched across to my 19". It worked great till you realized that where the two bezels meet.. was where your character was hiding. ATI was suppose to be working on a fix for that but I have yet to see it.

However, it does work.

I have not ever tried to drag the windows 'in' the game onto another window.. that might be an interesting thing to test.

Terg 90 Zerk - Butcherblock

I am currently running 3x 23" monitors on Eyefinity with the ATI Radion 5970.

I run at 5760x1080 resolution and its awesome, for the most part your game play looks relatively normal in the middle screen, and you can keep most of your unnecessary information off to the side monitors where you can easily see them but they dont interfere with your view.

I am having some crashing issues though, which I hope are not related.

I am using Eyefinity and found that there is a crashing problem. I have two 23s on the sides and a 32" center. Since my focus is center the sides let me catch things out of the corner of my eye and place windows. The problem is it will crash every 5 minutes or less... I got annoyed with it and had to switch back for the time being until this issue is fixed, if anyone is even working on it..

EvolovE
