Best build for AE?

<p>I am brand new to EQ2 and decided to make a SK, mainly because that was my favorite class in EQ1 (way back when). My wife made a Warlock to play with my SK, so I am trying to focus mainly on AEs. I have searched to forums for good AA builds for AEing, but most everything I've found on AA builds is before the INT nerf.</p><p>I am currently level 18 and have 15 AAs, but I'm locked and grinding out more AA's.</p><p>That being said this is what I'm looking at for my build.</p><p><a href="http://www.beetny.com/eq2aa/?h00u14a@24a@21">http://www.beetny.com/eq2aa/?h00u14a@24a@21</a></p><p>and after that I will begin work on the SK tree towards reaver.</p>

<p>In the lower levels your auto-attack really doesn't do all that much damage.  As a result, the 40% AE chance from the AGI line is generally considered the last thing you want to get in the "pre-70" levels.</p><p>I'd highly suggest going 10-10-2-2 (endline takes 2) in the STR line, perhaps putting that 1 point into Hammer Ground 1st.  After you have the STR endline, then I'd suggest getting Reaver from the SK tree trying to get down to where the AA's that reduce your AE skill recast timers hang out, then come back to the Crusader tree and get the Crit Chance from the STA line, and only then worry about the AE auto-attack from AGI.</p>
