Are the BG's down?

<p>Are they down this morning?  If so, any word when they'll be up?</p>

<p>Is there A sticky for the General Topic "Are the BG's Down?"  The network status doesn't list the Battlegrounds Zones so we can't really tell if they are up.</p>

<p>Been queued for quite awhile now, about 40 minutes. I have yet to get invited by the battlegrounds. I'd say they are down.</p>

I've been unable to login to the Battlegrounds since about 10:30 PM PST myself, it lets me queue but that's about it.

<p>You would think if the BG's were down so would be the que.  At least that would be SOME type of clue considering the lack of communication.</p>

<p>i think the patch broke something or undid a fix. last night, first time in a while, smuggler's went LD a few times for me and even group 1 once had 3 people drop all at the same time and never return. i also didnt get xp a few times doing BG last night. i finally went to bed after waiting 30 minutes for smugglers, i hadnt waited that long for weeks. i doubt it was a slow night. gears and ganak seemed a little better but i did not get xp every time.</p>

<p>Well, considering I've been queued for about 5 hrs now, I'd be willing to bet they are down.  Of course, who knows.  With the complete disregard of anything remotely resembling an "official" statement your guess is as good as mine.</p>

<p>I called SOE.  They told me they didn't know BG's were down and that I was their first caller.  Put me on hold, came back to tell me they were locked; Yes, I knew that already.  Came back again and said couldn't find any additional info other than being locked.  I think I knew too.</p><p>And no post here yet......Think I knew that too before I logged on.</p>

<p>Gah!  I have the absolute worst luck it seems.  The last time I had pretty much a whole weekend open to be lazy and play EQ2 the BGs were down the whole time.  Fast forward 4-6 weeks later or whatever (not sure how long really but it's been a while) and this weekend was going to be pretty open again for me.  Naturally, there's now a chance they'll be down per that update from Kiara.  /sigh</p>
