So I installed RoK and when I logged on to my account a window pops up and says Ip_plugin.exe has stopped working. So the launcher goes threw the scan and when I click download it trys to update, but only for like a second and when I keep clicking download under the update button, it keeps repeating but never updates... I have windows Vista installed on my laptop if that helps at all thanks. So I guess my question is. Does the Ip_plugin.exe effect my download of the patch and if so how do I fix it. I just installed the update from windows that said that could be the error. Its not...

Sounds like you are using the old patcher or a out of date station launcher. That particular module was redone in the newer launcher.

Go here and download it - http://launcher.station.sony.com/

1. uninstall the old launcher if you are using it

2. install the new download, go to the icon, right click, properties and set run as administrator.

3. launch and logon, first go to preferences and verify the language is correct - this sets the region, the go to the eq2 configuration page and set the diretory to point at your installed one or you will be downloading everything again.
