As a SK I am thinking of taking alchemist, provisioner, or scholar. Which one of these has the spells and abilities an SK uses? I think some are in alchemy and some are in scholar? I'm not sure. I essentially want to be able to craft my own class spells and abilities. How high in a skill can you craft a spell and/or ability? conversely, can I craft my spells and abilities to max lvl? or do I still need to depend on finding them in drops? that's my biggest concern with choosing a craft for my SK. Do you have any advice or input on which craft benefits an SK the most? This is not a "looking for profit" post. I'm more concerned with being able to upgrade the things that power the class, not crafting to make the most profit. Thanks for any input and advice.

All fighter spells/ca's an alchemist make, also potions which can be handy. Current highest tier armor and weapons tradeskill makes are generally crap. So I'd say Alchemist would be the most benificial in the long run..

thanks for responding. I just wasn't sure if they were all classified under one profession, such as alchemy, or spread out in other professions as well, such as scholar.

They sort of are, but once you get to 20 it's all different. Alchemists make Fighter spells/ca's/potions, Sages make Mage/Healer Spells, Jewelers make scout spells/ca's and jewelry.

They all are scholars but after level 20 it branches out to those three.

You will need rares of an appropriate tier to craft Expert spells but for the Master 'quality' of spells, you will require drops or buy them off broker from other people's drops.
