What is new leadership going to mean for us?

<p>I remember reading Aeralik's post on flames about a month ago, going into detail about everytime leadership changes, the priorities change for what they're working on.</p><p>I don't know if this is something to be thankful for, or be concerned about with Brenlo leaving. It was pretty obvious that he wanted to ignore all the feedback and pleas that rangers were giving to fix our class.</p><p>Everyday it seems like I see someone else saying they betrayed to assassin in ranger world chat. I'm hoping the new senior producer reads this and goes through some of the older posts we have made to try and fix our dps and make us a class that is wanted for raiding.</p>

<p>I would not worry about it hurting Rangers, what else can they do to us?</p><p>SF has been out for 2 months now without a single concern being specifically addressed or even commented on in any direct manner.</p><p>Though Brenlo announced they would address class balance issues in SF, the gap in Ranger vs. other T1 DPS was broadened even though some major irritations were fixed.</p><p>There were some indications that class balance was going to get another run in May. Along with vague hints that Rangers would have some incentive to be ranged. Never really worried about that happening after years of neglect and an obivious ignor(e)<em>ance</em> of the problems exhibited and clearly pointed out by those of us in the beta.</p><p>Bottom line is make your Ranger work the best you can now and do not expect any major fixes. Do not expect to be a popular class to get invited to guilds, raids or groups. But expect to have some bangup fun soloing if that is what you like.</p><p>That said, I can't stay away anymore, the EQ2 withdrawls are eating me up. I will be getting SF finally and just try to make the best of it. Fortunately I am in a very solid and understanding guild. They know what they are getting and what they are not getting from my Ranger. As for getting in pugs? I suspect that will continue to be a challenge.</p>

<p>Its something every Ranger that is / was trying to get the class fixed to its original tier, should be very worried about.</p><p>We now have many new devs and management people introduced to the game in the last 6-8 months. All of which have no clue what the original status of what class's where supposed to be T1 DPS, which ones were supposed to be buff class's (not T1), which ones were supposed to be debuff class's (not T1) and which ones were supposed to be debuff/ buff class mix (not T1). Tanks were never intended to top DPS Parses, nor were chanters or bards.</p><p>The whole game is currently a joke and many things are completly out of wack / broke, compared to what the original "vision" of what EQ2 was. Rangers are just on the recieving end of SoEs complete failure to manage the game as it was originally intended.</p><p>So yes, you now have another new "vision" being introduced who has no clue, we are still nerfed and will continue to stay nerfed because we wont  meet his new vision and he wont have time to mess with us, while he is busy trying to figure out how to fix BGs, keep LoN makeing fat jack, and adding microtransactions with SC, to the game actually makes money.</p><p>Had 4 EQ2 accounts, im now down to 2. One of those got cancelled last week and is good till the end of this month. My last one .........well who knows how much trash I want to pay for, while the Devs debate the issue for the next 12-16months.</p>
