Launcher stuck at "Starting..."

<p>So I played this game yesterday with no problem. Last night I tried to log on and was stopped short at the, "Starting" after waiting a few minutes to no avail, I exited the launcher and tried again. Once again, first it updated very quickly, allowing me to press "Play" after I hit play, it updates for a couple more minutes then goes to the "Starting..." and this is where it gets stuck. Any advice? This is the first time I've had any sort of problem like this. One thing I did notice that was unusual was, when loading the launcher a windows file menu pops up for a second, saying "Updating" with the files going into the document (hopefully you know what pop-up I'm referring to, as I poorly decribed it) Restarted my computed and everything, anyone have any ideas? <p>Same here. I got the same problem last night and then reinstalled the whole game and try to run it again this afternoon. That still happened.</p>

<p>Me too.</p><p>Been doing it for over 24hrs now.....</p><p>Mine continuosly goes 'Starting' - 'Stop' - 'Updating 99% complete', All within 1 second over and over again.</p>

<p>This is my situation as well.</p><p>I start up the launcher and it begins an update from 0%.  When the progress bar reaches 100%, the "Stop" wording on the green launch button changes to "Play".  Upon clicking "Play" the updating starts over again at 50%.  When it reaches 100% this time, the "Stop" wording changes to "Starting..." but the text is black instead of white indicating that the button to launch the game is not active.  It will sit like this until you get fed up with waiting and close the launcher, and will repeat this process when the launcher is re-opened.</p><p>This is the sort of thing that usually happens when Blizzard updates WoW...that's one of the reasons why I dumped WoW for EQ2.</p>
