Lately my browser window has been kind of messed up. The best example I can give is on the following link,http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/on the left side of the wiki you see the menu for beginers guides, reference etc. If you hover over them it should pull up a dropdown type menu to select what you are lookig for. Also on the wiki following any waypoint is a clickable cut/copy widget.

I see these things just fine when using my ie8 or firefox browsser out of game. But my in my in game browser it does nothing when you hover over the menu on the left. And I can not see the clickable widgets at all. This is just one example but I'm having this problem with just about any site I try and visit using the in game browswer.

I talked to some guild mates of mine and they have no problem at all with the menu on the wiki or the widget. I installed eq2 on my laptop to see if it would be the same. And the in game browser on my laptop works perfectly.

So far I have deleated the mozilla folder in the eq2 director completly. Deleated the cache folder. And deleated the UI folder. I let the patcher reinstall each of these, but i get the same result. I also ran a full scan using the patch and it didn't fix anything. I know my java application is up to date. I'm not sure what else i can try.Any ideas?

Besides JAVA, you'll probably want to update your flash player as well. Beyond that, it might be that one of the game/ui files has been corrupted. You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:

cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniIf deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.
