Why are the potency stats on the shoulders and neck-pieces pvp only? Those effects can be gained by simply buying the gear off the broker and the stuff you buy off the broker has more potency as well. Fair enough you dont want 2-3% potency on every piece of gear, but why not the shoulders and neck?

T2-3 shard armor from last expansion had 8 and 9% potency on the shoulders and you can buy a neck with 9% potency off the broker.

I agree with this being a terrible discrepancy, as even old TSO PvP pieces had absolute potency available on them.

Can this be fixed, or will there be an official response on whether this can be revised?

Battleground gear is entirely to powerful already. No need to make it more overpowered for the effort needed to obtain it.

In all honestly they need to increase the quality of mark gear because it is complete trash compared to battleground gear.

Also last I checked most fabled gear is not obtainable on the broker. Might want to try rewriting that last statement.

I honestly dont remeber when the broker even had decent gear for sale. I think the last time I was able to buy decent fabled gear on the broker was the end of tier 5. Now if by broker you meant loot rights then a with an unlimited supply of plat (read at least several thousand) and a server were guilds are selling every peice of tier 2 raid armour you needed you might have a point, but good luck finding that scenario. Even with a full set of tier 2 raid gear I still use ~2 battleground peices of gear. If that doesnt scream overpowered I dont know what will.

I'm quite happy to use a treasured piece of gear if it happens to have better stats. but here we go, a quick trip to the broker gave me these three items. Heck, if I went to a black market broker Im sure I could even find one with Fighter stats on it. lets take a look at the other blue stats on the items. The fabled lots-of-time-and-effort neck has 2 crit. Two of the others have 8 crit. 4 times the bonus. And the fourth item has crit bonus, which is probably better than any amount of crit considering how rediculously easy it is to cap crit chance.

Of those items pictured, the one with the LEAST potency and WORST other bonuses is also the item which takes by FAR the longest to get. Most effort, most time, least reward. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

Quite honestly, right now, the L90 BG Merchant armor is fine for beginning raiding. I'm not really sure it should be, but it is.

Yes, you'll want to get into red slot gear as quickly as possible, but for starting out? It's really good. Better than T2 shard armor was for starting TSO raiding for sure.

That is at most 70 matches if you lost EVERY single one and at minimum 24.

He never mentioned changing cloaks, rings, or wrist slots.
