In the above picture I have made some changes to represent my ideas and numbered them for easy explaination.

1. Check boxes for each BG. Instead of the one or all choice, you check wich BGs you are interested you will be put in the next available match of only the types checked.

2. An include me for raid leader checkbox. I believe that the majority of people who don't know what they are doing as raid leader, also don't want the responsibility. By leaving this unchecked, you eliminate yourself from the roll.(Unless of course uveryone in raid also leaves it blank. then everyone rolls)

3. No group button This opens the "No Group" window explained next.

4. No Group window. This window allows you to choose people you wish to not group with. The way this would work, is simple. You will not be put in a group with this person. If that person is in a group the match maker will see that you have them on your list and will hold your que till the next match. Likewise if you are placed in a group and that person is next in que he will be placed in the next match. Since adding a person to a no group list would be the same as their adding you, abuse of this tool would have the same effect to you as having several people blacklist you. The more people who have you blacklisted the harder it will be to get in group. If everyone has one person blacklisted then that person will keep getting moved back in que until a full group whithout a blacklist comes along. But if you are the only person who has him blacklisted it will likely just move you to the next que.

Everything you suggest sounds great, but not the blacklist idea. That just seems silly.

What prevents someone from entering all the good players they encounter on their blacklist, then make a preformed group to go wipe out scrubs for a few hours?

it would only prevent them being on their team, not the match. So if you added all the good players you would only ensure that you got a bad group.

All looks good to me.

+1

To be honest the checkboxes need to go in before they add more scenarios.

The "No group" or blacklist thing will never get added as it will never work or would be too open to exploitation.

I'd like to see how long the queue is already for the different maps. The final overview window does not fit on my 1380x1024 screen, some scroll bars and a window frame would be nice. In Smugglers Den I cannot even see the close button.

I like all the ideas there. Sometimes I want to run either the single or x2 bg and not the big raid one. Would be nice to have first available for those 2 and leave out the Smugglers Den.

The blacklist is a great idea, it's just like having an ignore list for open world. I wouldnt want to play with someone I cant stand. If I ignore them on the server I should also have the opportunity to not be forced to group with them in BG's.

As long as the person with the list goes in last. It should work by giving the picky person the leftovers. If there is only 2 spots left in a x24 bg and its between you and your blacklisted person you lose out.
