Hello,

I really like to test things out, but the training dummies are completely useless when they die in 8 seconds. Would be nice if there would be several versions with more or less health and also en encounter dummy where you have say 6 of them linked...

Thanks,

Dorsan, necromancer of Nagafen.

The lvl 80 dummies had ~200k hps. Havent played with the lvl 90's Did they not scale thier health?

It "scaled" all right . . . added like 25k health.

We really need to be able to spawn one with however many HP we want.

I wouldn't even mind a dummy with 10 million HP as an option honestly.

If we're starting a dummy change wish list can we also get them to spawn with different names like dummy1; dummy2 or whatever? Would help with a couple things like parsing aoes and such.

I totally understand that is probably going to be way low as far as priorities, but it would be sweet if it at least made the list.

I've already made a change to the dummy chest, it just hasn't been released yet. You'll get it with GU56.

You have the option to spawn a solo, heroic and epic dummy. Each will scale slightly larger in size and their hitpoints will be on par with mobs of that tier and level.

So now you can raid a training dummy if you like. These changes should be on the Test server if you want to check them out.

So that in theory peopel can properly test melee hit rates vs lvl on high con epic npcs.

lol nice update...

you should get an achievment if you solo kill the raid dummy

maybe asking too much but it would be cool if training dummy cast spells and did melee (but just 0 or 1 points of damage), that way you could test reactives and stuff.. a lot of classes' spells dont work on training dummy because it just sits there

Latly on my wizard all I been doing for testing purposes is laying down 8 dummies per kill, even that only lasts 48 - 58 seconds or so now a days. I liked the mention of linking dummies, that would be impressive cause theres no easy solo way to test our green stuff and encounter related procs. Can already think of a handful of cool off-raid ideas I'd like to do with this, sounds nifty.

If these new dummys are like the old ones, then the old ones resisted way to much too. These things resist more than say, your average even con solo mobs. I'm looking at parses where my Ice Comet is at 66% hit rate, fusions getting 33 - 66% if I cast it on a group, all aoe's in general are hitting 95 - 96%. I see generally more resists on these than normal raid mobs. The group of 8 is pretty sweet for testing gear and stuff but it seems uneceesary to flat out resist an ice comet, or hear a series of dings everytime I cast an AoE because I can rarely cast a green and actually land it on all 8 dummies when im just trying to test gear and effects. Also I am getting alot of these results even with my Furnace of Ro down...debuffing everything by ~1700 ><

Is it impossible to remove all factors of resists without any concept of the dummies mitigating our dmg to a reasonable point? I am not expert on the mechanics but these things seem to actually resist like Im fighting heroics as well. Prolly last thing on your guys radar but clearly dummies were on it enough to create what you have
