<p>Four words: Level 90 class hats.  I would love to see them do new hats in general, but would settle for new level 90 class hats (I don't mind looking like the hamburglar, but others are in even worse straight).</p><p>Oh and of course brigands and swashies would get pirate hats..ahem.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>When Kiara and Brenlo stopped by the AB server to chat last week, I asked Brenlo if we could get an in-game pirate hat for our characters, and he said something to the extent of yes.  I don't remember the exact way he put it, but the feeling was that he was saying yes.  Kiara is going to post the chat log on the forums when she gets it cleaned up, so check it there.</p>

<p>There's a pirate-ish straw hat quest reward in game if you do the Goldie quest line.  However, it is one of the most annoying quest lines I've ever come across in any game, so if you aren't 80+ or plan to be very quickly, its not really a viable option.  It does come with a parrot sitting on a cage for your house though!</p><p>And as someone else mentioned, there is the LON reward of a chest of classless hats, which lets you pick one hat that can be used by any class.  There is at least one option that is a swashbuckling style of hat.</p>

<p>If i had the technical know-how I would apply to SOE, and upon hire, re-skin the entire item database to fit the name of the said item.  i.e. Darklight Circlet made to actually look like a circlet, Or reskin the Farmer's Hat from TS to actually look like a farmer's hat...</p><p>And don't even get me started on the weapons and shields...</p><p>/sigh...</p>
