If I had to venture a guess I would say patron of artists. This is not unprecidented as the Ro family also had Anayeon (sp?) who was patron of musicians. Except for Druzzil, all the Ro's seem to be directly related to fire or things that require a pasion (could make an argument for Druzzil to fall in to this category also)

I think Verig Ro is also the craftsman of the gods that made Gorryn's Fist.

Heyo, guys. It's actually "Varig Ro." Varig is a master smith and artist, a son of Solusek Ro, and appears as though he is made of all iron. He would easily be the patron deity of most tradeskillers, if they knew about him.

http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Varig_Ro

God of the Forge, if I recall correctly. I believe that's about the extent of the information available about him, however; just one of those minor deities that pop up in the lore every now and then.

From what I recall, Varig Ro was basically the Norrathian version of Hephaestus. He, like Hephaestus, had a bit of a thing for the goddess of Love. She, however, would have nothing to do with him - what with him being a humanoid-golem creature made of blackened iron and her a bit of a catch. But then, iron rusts and perhaps she was just thinking of her carpets.

Varig agreed to give his prized battleaxe to Tholuxe Paells, god of Lust, in exchange for time spent alone with Erollisi. No doubt he wanted to impress her with his skill in weilding a blacksmith hammer.

After fulfilling his side of the bargain Erollisi turned up at his forge but when Varig got close, the illusion dropped and she was revealed to be not a lovely goddess but a deformed, disfigured, near-death human woman. Tholuxe had tricked him for reasons unknown.

Varig never got his battleaxe back - it disappeared before eventually turning up on Norrath as the Berserker epic.

I have no idea whether this is completely true, whether this is canon or whether its just fanfic rubbish, but this is what I remember of Varig Ro. No doubt someone will shout at me if I'm wrong.

Tho it does strike me as fitting that someone who loved Erollisi could make a statue of her so wonderful, so captivating, that it can inspire the Northmen and give comfort to the god of Valour. I rather think you have to love your subject to be able to do that.

That's definately the basics of the story in the zerker epic. I don't remember if it's all in there, but remember reading he traded the axe for Erollsi, got duped and then we put the axe back together in the epic.

All professions.
