While I have not taken Sherra L'Arel quest yet, It's a raid and not quited geared up for it. However, part of me when I hear her quest makes me wonder if she is the decision that a certain Yearling Frost-Dragon Warned us about?

I havent actually killed her either but I am pretty sure we end up destroying Toxxulia's body and then Sherra traps the dragon's mind within her using her own force of will.

No matter how you finish the quest though it doesnt seem likely that you get any feedback regarding what is actually done from Sherra. Typical as far as raid/lore interaction goes.

I can only hope the upcoming storyteller or w/e journal feature sheds some light on the actual dealings going on during these quests/raids. Otherwise my old complaint in regards to raid/lore interaction still stands uncorrected.

The fight goes, if you don't summon Sherra, then necromantic forces re-energize Toxxulia, restoring her to life.

Hmm which many Paineel practicioners use a a legit field of study, now if we can just get Erudites in Qeynos to stop whining to my DE Monk about Necromancy, seems the Paineel Erudites with their caution ended up the "Good" guys while the Erudtes ended up as shadowpuppets!

actually the Paineel Erudites aren't the 'good guys' becuase they chose to study necormancy as a field of knowledge. thier the 'good guys' becuase El'Arad made a deal/bargain/was corrupted by Theer, and that corruption spread through the High council and let the void basically walk in and take Erudin.

but yes, you Tier'dal are notoriously known to be treacherous, evil, backstabbing, necromancy loving children of Hate. and they got proof of Tier'dal playing 'nice' for decades just to show thier true colors once thier plans were done. so of course you can say 'I'm not like that!' and they can point out several examples of other Tier'dal that said the same thing and it was proven false

Most notable was the one from PoP in the Plane of Justice. married to a human woman, had a good life for decades. she was a devoted wife. When his plans went through and he was suspected of them..she fought for him, killed for his safety..and he thought it was quite amusing and left her to rot. (I think he might have actually killed her himself as a 'loose end' that needed cleaning up) So much of a 'good' Tier'dal, huh?

The Erudites put aside their differences to work towards their common goal: The pursuit of knowledge above all. In fact this is a philosophy that Erudites across Norrath share.

This meant that neither Panieel nor Erudin were the good or bad guys, until El'Arad made his move.
