Tech help needed

<p>OK, I have /petitioned this and the GM's were unable to help so maybe posting here is a solution?</p><p>Anyway, new computer, windows 7 64bit, 4 gig ram, ATI Radeon HD 5850 1gb graphics card.</p><p>Runs the game great, except for a couple of problems!!!</p><p>1. I can not instal any add ons (I have installed the .net framework)</p><p>2. I can not "click link" any item into chat. This is a problem as I am my guilds Sage/Adorner and can not link spells/adorns as I do not have them in my inventory</p><p>3. After I go to a BG all of my chat channels are removed, I need to right click the "main tab" and rejoin all the channels.</p><p>Anyone got any suggestions as to how to fix these problems?</p>

<p>2 - this is a known problem; in my case, the "external" links of items I do not have in inventory are actually going into the wrong window.  I get around it by clicking a chat line in that other window (not my default chat window), then click-linking.  Check and see if you have a hidden window where the links may be ending up.  Rothgar was looking into the issue a while back, hopefully we'll see something fixed soon.</p><p>3 - I believe this is because the BGs are actually on a different server.  If I recall correctly from other discussions, they have it on their list to look at, but I suspect its a little lower than other more pressing BG issues, such as zoning and database load.</p>
