View Full Version : Why no on the INT Line?

I've read all the posts that say don't waste points in the INT AA line after the change introduced with the latest expansion.

I know INT as as Stat is completely worthless to Shadowknights, but why no AA points in the INT Line. The second skill in the INT line increases your magic damage by a percentage of your STR, so wouldn't it be benificial to at least go 4-10 in INT, or am I missing something else?

that bubble uses a percentage of your strength as extra damage, you can then better use it on STA or AGI line. They give a better return then the INT line

So if you have a 1200 STR and that AA in the int line, you essentially got a +120 ability mod. That's not that big a deal, and especially not for a cost of 14 AA's.

INT line is now dead to us.

Your referring to the marginally useful endline ability? It's not worth 24 points for the 500-ish dps it normally adds to a parse. Unless you don't use STA line at all due to having enough crit on your gear, then it's worthwhile since you won't need the points anywhere else.

But until you've got that gear popping crit over 100 in your 80's, you don't want INT at all, and in most non-raiding situations it's not going to help all that much.

On raids the INT endline is extremely useful.

Go it. So stick to the recommended specs of STR, STA and AGI until/unless I start raiding, then do INT to the endline.

Thanks for the info guys.

At the same time. Trample from AGI is nice, but, not really a game breaker. I don't see much point in STA at all.

From a pvp perspective is getting Legionaire's Conviction worth it? It looks pretty nice to me, but I haven't actually seen it in action.

STR, AGI, WIS = FTW

STR ~ Obviously the Double attack, Haste and avenging invigoration are great.

AGI ~ I like trample and higherground + lance is useful in pvp to snare people and decent aoe damage.

WIS ~ the 8% potency in the wisdom line is nice + immunity to fear.. also the regenerating ward is nice.

STR AGI WIS - is a great spec for all around play including raids, small instances and pvp.

I simply put only 1 point into hammer ground and leave the rest of the STA line alone.. DA is worthless imo. If your poping DA then 9 times outta 10 it means things arent going to great and your just gonna live (mabey) x amount of seconds longer.. Mabey use STA for progression raiding.. but even then... meh

The int line is great for the extra 2k resists and reflect is actually useful in pve now.. meh..

Thats my 2 cents

regards,

Alazarz

Alot of times those 10 sec are all it takes for large heals to come off their CD and your out of danger.

AGI is largely useless on raids. It's great for soloing/grouping, but it's useless on raids.
