if you've updated before then it's probably your connection. Or perhaps the servers aren't ready yet and you jumped the gun...try waiting around a bit and then try again.

if you haven't updated before then it's probably your security settings... go the tech section and ask there ... they'll tell ya how to set up your games folder.

I have had this problem before too. My solution is uninstall SoE Station Launcher and then reinstall it. It will download the patch and work.

I'm having this very same problem. I'm going to try temporarily disabling my Norton before I try the uninstall method. Hopefully that'll be the source of the problem. 80(

I posted this on the forum at the top....

Woot ...Got it to work on a Vista and Windows 7 box. I stopped the update on the station launcher. I next went to the task bar and right clicked on station icon to shut down the program completely. A pop up come along that said you may have to run the program as adminstrator. This I did and bang loaded patch no problem.

Give it a try

I suppose my last recourse is to uninstall reinstall and see if that works. This really is rather frustrating. 80/

*EDIT*

I did get it to work by both disabling my Norton and running Station Launcher as an Admin. I'm not sure if it was the combination of the two or whether I flubbed Sturl's instructions somehow on my first attempt but regardless it DID fix the issue. So as Sturl suggested, "Give it a try"!

Thank you Sturl. 80)

Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"
