Return to EQ2 - Are my characters gone forever?

<p>FIRST OFF SORRY FOR THE CAPS FOR SOME REASON THE IPHONE KEEPS TURNING  CAPS ON FOR THIS MSG BOARD.</p><p>I HAVE JUST RESUBSCRIBED AFTER MANY YEARS AWAY TO GIVE EQ2 ANOTHER SHOT.  AFTER INSTALLING AND WAITING THRU THE 9.9GB (!!!!) FILE UPDATE, I MADE IT TO THE CHARACTER SELECT SCREEN TO FIND NONE OF MY OLD CHARACTERS.  DO I NEED TO MAKE A REQUEST TO HAVE THEM LOADED OR ARE THEY GONE FOREVER?</p>

<p>Ok, back at home now.  I'm not sure about the region.  I'm using the new Station launcher but I don't see a way to select the region.  Would you explain how I can check?</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>I do see on the Everquest II Button on the Station Launcher it says "Switch Versions", when I click that the only selection that pops up to the right is the Test Server.</p>

<p>Sheesh, ok its been many years now but apparantly my other characters were on a different account <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/499fd50bc713bfcdf2ab5a23c00c2d62.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Whats a good info site (dungeons, beastiary, drops, etc) for EQ2 nowadays?  Man I remember more about my EQ playing days than EQ2!</p><p>Thanks in advance!</p>
