<p>Since yesterday, we both my boyfriend and me have a problem running EQ2.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">On my computer</span>, the game crashes regularly after a while and windows display this error message :</p><p><em>"</em><em><em>Application ran out of memory</em> when requesting X (limit 1024)" </em></p><p>Before the error comes up, there's no lag, no particular problem I could notice.</p><p>My config sum up (it's a desktop) :</p><p>CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400</p><p>4 GB RAM</p><p>Nvidia GeForce 275</p><p>Windows 7 32-bit</p><p>Config for EQ2 : highest quality (res 1680*1050)</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">On my boyfriend's laptop</span>, the game launches but then crashs in the character selection screen. The error message comes from windows again but is different. Basically it says that his ATI graphic card has to recover from an error. The screen also "blinks".</p><p>His config :</p><p>CPU Intel Pentium M 1.8 Ghz</p><p>1 GB RAM</p><p>ATI mobility Radeon 9700</p><p>Windows XP</p><p>Config EQ2 : Highest performance (res 1280*76<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Both worked very well before yesterday night.I can't find out what changed.</p><p>Yesterday I downloaded legends of norrath. I don't know if that can help...</p><p>If anyone has an idea, thank you !</p>
