Station Launcher EQ2 Update Fails and Restarts at certain points

<p>Hi folks,</p><p>Wasn't sure if this should go here, but I'm just a bit worried at my EQ2 update.</p><p>I was on the trial sometime in January and decided to buy the game today online. The Station Launcher is updating the software for me (as they don't sell a boxed version in my country) but every so often. the update will fail (saying that there was an error with a specific file or something.</p><p>The error goes by too quickly for me to read though.</p><p>Anyway, when that happens, the update restarts the process, usually with some of the downloaded information saved, but it's just kinda scary that I purchased a 40 dollar item and the update isn't going well.</p><p>Is it something I should worry about, or is it a common, non-problematic occurrence in the Station Launcher Beta?</p>

<p>you don;t give very many detailsof the system</p><p>If using windows 7/vista, right click on the icon and run as administrator</p><p>If you are using the streaming updater try switching to the full patcher, can be downloaded at <a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com/">http://launcher.station.sony.com/</a> </p><p>If you download the full patcher, make sure you configure the target directories for the game to match where it is currently installed or you will be downloading the full game again. As with the streaming patcher, right click run as administrator.</p><p>You can make that setting permenant by right clicking on the icon, selecting properties, then compatiblity tab, down at the bottom is the click box for run as administrator.</p>
