Artist Highlight – Gary Daugherty

We have gorgeous environments, spectacularly detailed characters, and some really nifty animations. But that isn't all there is to it. The effects in game are just as important to the visual candy as anything else. Gary Daugherty does the effects for everything you see in-game. Everything from spell effects to the nifty mists and sparkles on epic weapons. <p>Ok, I'm officially excited about the spell revamp project! Sounds like we will finally have unique, class specific spells that also scale with power! Woot!</p><p>I truly hope this comes to fruition. </p>

Please, Please, pretty please with insane amounts of sugar on it, PLEASE change/add/modify I don't really care how we get it.. but <span style="text-decoration: underline;">give <strong>Furies</strong> a fun spell using the particle effect that the Named Fairy in Shard of Love has on</span>!  She has what looks like a Fury version of the Warden's lvl 20 fun spell: "Dust Cloud".  Her's is a brown, red & orange leaf instead of the various tonal green leaves.  Right now, we get some kind of  toxic fumes, probably 'cause the Troll & Ogres can be Furies too, and some weird glowing hulahoop thing.  Neither of which has ever really made sense to me.</p>

I stuck it on Willowmeena because I thought it fit the area. It would be a cool fury spell effect though, I agree.</p>

<p>Ooh, very cool!</p><p>(bribes for a cheese particle effect similar to the peppermint effect) My candy canes are cool, and all, but I would pay massively for little cheeses!</p><p>Anyway, keep up the great work at making EQ2 as pretty as it is! I know I love looking at all the nifty spell and environment effects we have.</p>
