Tranquil Forewarning and Brutality effects are inconsistent with each other.

Tranquil Forewarning (AA)

- Improves the threat amount of taunt spells by 3%. [per AA, 5 ranks available]

Brutality (Art)- Improves the base amount of taunts by 16%. [Mastered]

Bruisers have 9 abilities that affect threat, however, Tranquil Forewarning and Brutality are inconsistent in what they modifiy.

Affected by both effects (and potency):AbuseSlurred InsultDivide & Conquer

Affected by Brutality only (and potency):Mantis Leap (AA)Manhandle (proc)Alternate: Shiftiness (proc) (AA)Sneering Assault (AA)

Affected by neither (nor potency):Fist of Gorynn (proc) (cannot be modified by direct means)Aggressive Beatdown (AA)

The Tranquil Forewarning AA has virtually no value for two reasons. First is that the benefit is limited to only 3 of the 9 methods a bruiser has of affecting threat, second is that 5 AA's is only 15% adjustment, less than the value of Brutality. With so many worthwhile factors in the 70 points available to be spent in the TSO tree, this ability will never be taken.

Tranquil Forewarning likely has less effect than Brutality due to the inclusion of the word "spells" in it's effect, whereas Brutality simply increases taunts whether they are spells or combat arts.

On a secondary note, Aggressive Beatdown should be affected by Alternate: Shiftiness being active to become Passive Beatdown, and provide a detaunt effect instead.

edit: added note as to whether potency affects or not
