Wanting to make a fury but can't decide on a race.

Which if any benefit the most for fury?

Thanks to any replies.

Like EQ1, pick what race you like the most. Remember - you're gonna see its rear for the next however many levels you play him/her.

Some races have "priest" packages so to speak.

High Elves and Erudites are great for furies since they are mage/healer centric

This site has good information on the innate abilities of the different races. But yes, make sure it's a toon you will enjoy looking and playing.

http://eq2wire.feldoncentral.com/20...ial-traditions/

If you are new to the game or new to a server and don't have any plat choose a race that has a 5% running bonus. At level 20 when you get your animal form and if you spec into it in the fury tree you will have a base running speed of 40%. 5 from racial and 35 from the form if you put 5 aa points into it. Then with sow you will gain an additional 20%.

So at level 20 you can start running around at 60% running speed. You won't need to wast money on a mount for a long time. You can also spec into 5% running into the shadow tree and more into the druid tree I believe. I'm not sure what the max is on running speed though.

I play a wood elf as a druid, mostly for the tracking ability. They do get a nice little casting speed for beneficial spells. High Elf though to me really was probably the best race for druids till i changed.

Never bought a mount in the game. Best advice was to play what you like. Racial abilities aren't class breakers unless you are a min/maxer.
