I used the "Reinstall EQII link" to reinstall EQII. I reactivated my account and renewed my subscription. I had an old Previous version of EQII(At least 2 years old), so I uninstalled it and used the Reinstall link. It installed to "C:ProgramDataSony Online Entertainmentinstalled gamesEverquest II" I then ran the launcher and it downloaded some files then "Play" became active. When I clicked it loaded EQII and asked me what keyset to use. I selected the default it had and then it comes up with the message:

"Login Rejected: Clients version does not match servers version. Please run the patcher again."

I assumed the patcher was the launcher so I ran it again. Same issue. I looked on the forums and there appeared to be some old posts (from 2007 or 2008 that suggested I move EQ II to a public folder. I uninstalled and reinstalled to a folder all users have access to(I am using Windows Vista). That didn't work. Same issue. I also tried running the launcher and Everquest2.exe as admins(they already have it UAC is off for my computer) and as Windows XP SP2 Compatibility. None of this has worked. I cannot seem to find any recent posts that have any suggestions. Some older posts suggested the servers were down and updating and this was the issue. All the servers appear to be up and I cannot find any information to suggest they are updating them.

Any help would be appreciated.

*Edited to remove unintended smiley and to disable them.
