I think I already know the answer to this, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I have a 36 conjuror and desperately need to upgrade my spells.

I Just recently returned and have most if not all apprentice spell. I do have a few adepts and journeyman. I can create some by myself (have 2 trade skill toons), but at my tradeskill levels they are the lower level expert and journeyman spells. I'm trying to end up with adept or masters if lucky.

what I'm looking for is possibley a list of which spells to upgrade first. My pets spells are first on my list. also some good to decent armor ideas.

as I said I really don't have alot of money.

Pets first, obviously. Make sure your defensive stance is expert as well, and the pet heal will help you as you level. After that it really doesn't matter until you get closer to 90.

Gear-wise: Mastercrafted cloth is the way to go until you hit level 70+.

Money isn't a problem: just harvest the rares off harvest nodes, and hire out a sage and tailor to make the stuff for you.

It will depend on your playstyle. For soloing, your tank pet and your root might have a higher priority than if you do a lot of instances or group stuff. Also, leveling from 36 to around 60-70 is very, very fast these days, thanks to both a faster XP curve and the fact that one person mentoring down to you can easily drag you through instances and get you ridiculous amount of XP. So again, depends on your playstyle: if you like slow leveling through questing, investing in Mastercrafted gear is well worth it. If you're going for fast leveling, don't spend too much on gear and spells - quite often, the Mastercrafted gear from one tier will be good enough to be used for two tiers, if fast leveling is what you're going for. At least until you hit 60, at which point it starts to slow down a bit, to reach a more stable rhythm at 70.

Since you recently returned, I advise you stick as much as possible to the newer (EoF) zones instead of the original ones - they generally give better quest rewards and have better loot. A few notable exceptions however are Runnyeye and Deathfist Citadel, which both got revamped a few years ago, and both give very interesting rewards at your level.
