So I decided to go battle cleric and I'm 1 point away from getting battle cleric. After that im not sure what to spend my AAs on in the cleric tree i could use some suggestions and if people could show me the pros and cons to each that would be great. Thanks a bunch!

It would probably help to provide a little more information on your total amount of AA's and normal playstyle (group vs solo).

If you are looking for a solo build and specifically in the cleric tree, I would 1) make sure all of your CA's are max'd out to 5/5, then 2) get Fanaticism if you haven't already (don't remember if that falls under Battle Cleric or not) and 3) start working down the Punishments line to get that end ability.

Right or wrong, on my solo build I have mostly ignored the left half of the cleric tree with only a couple exceptions. My dps is good, and with the Punishment line, various heal procs, and Thex Mallet procs I rarely need to cast heals on myself unless fighting double or triple ^'s.

I solo for the most part, but do group from time to time. I have spent 23 talents and just got battle cleric. I havent maxed out all of the CA's yet. So i should max them before i go to the cleric tree?

Yes, max them out. Afterwards, on the cleric tree I would go down the far left path (str) with Skull Bash, and spend 22 points in that line to get Steadfast which prevents you being interrupted. Then the middle line with Hammer Strike and max out melee damage multiplier and get that crit. Afterwards, do Punishments.

My bad- I was thinking of inquisitor tree not cleric.

What he said though- after Battle Cleric definitely go back and get the two lines in the cleric tree done before coming back to the Inquisitor tree.

Punishments is the far right line in the Inquisitor Tree, you should be able to access that as it came with the Echoes of Faydwer expansion (3rd). It procs a heal every time a punishment (Vengeance, Repentance, Heresy) triggers.
