Ability Mod vs. INT?

<p>Does anyone know how to calc the tradeoff between these two stats? I'm 42 and wondering if I should go with the 34 INT boots or the 25 INT Journeyman boots with +15 Ability Mod.</p>

You should be able to just examine your actual spells to see which is better. Both the INT and +Ability Mod are displayed directly.
