I haven't played EQ2 for about 2years now.

Last time I played I got my brig to 32. When I came back his aa's and traits were cleared and I can't for the life of me figure out where I had them.

I remember having battery and assault 2 and black jack for brigand stuff. Walk the plank also sounds familiar.

Anyone help me out? I thought I was going a STR line in the rogue tree. *shrugs*

Thanks to any replies-

Big changes, especially recently with the addition of the SF expansion. Brigs no longer use strength for damage (it's AGI all the way now). You might want to take a look here for some really good information:

Brigand Information

Is that guide up to date then? i saw it was made in 2009 just want to make sure.

Depends how many AA as to what you do.

My spec for raiding at 232 AA has the following in the rogue tree:

STR 10-4-8-1

AGI 8-4-10-1

INT 10-4-9-1

with 8 points in Cunning Prowess (10% potency), Cap Ferro (10% Reuse speed) and Coordination (8% accuracy) with Dance of Metal endline.

If you're lower level, STR is probably best to go for first, as melee crit is still rarer at lower levels, then fill out AGI which will boost dps when grouping. INT is last to get as it helps deaggro in raiding and gives a FD.

In the brigand tree the Potency, Tactics and Afflictions lines are what I've filled up, and I'd say they come in that order of importance, and for the SF AAs there's nothing great but the AE dispatch endline in the brigand tree is good.

The TSO tree you can fill quite early, the deaggro on the scout line is very useful, but that will cost you 21AA to get to, so work on the rogue tree first.

Have fun.

Oh, PS. the guide doesn't seem to be up to date as you can now spend more points in each tree with the release of SF expansion (up to 250AA total).

But you'd still go STR-AGI for a decent dps build early on. That'll be your first 48 AA or so. For levelling FD is nice... it's a question of whether to fill out rogue tree or dive into TSO tree as you hit 60AA+.
